Run like the Wind…

Christmas day and I’m thinking about 2012 and how busy it’s going to be. Suddenly I remembered that I did say, just after my London 2010 debut, that I would do another Marathon in 2012 – The Olympic year. So, after hearing that a friend at running club had just entered Edinburgh, I thought, why the hell not, let’s add another project to 2012. So here I am, as before, logging my journey on a blog. I’m excited – but  a little worried. I remember all to clearly the roller coaster from week to week, the zombified state after those 20 milers… But to be honest, the excitement is winning at the moment – probably because I havent actually started training yet, and I’ve spent the last week eating and drinking non stop. (a little voice in my head telling me “it’s fine, you’ll be training for a Marathon soon..”). OK, I’ll go for a run tomorrow…
